Lockdown vol.2
I believe this year is much more difficult for each student. We need to face "new normality" which means online classes and staying mostly indoors, rather than going to the campus and meeting people.
In the beginning of November we had second lockdown in Italy and Milan (with the whole Lombardy region) become "red zone" what means no physical classes and other restrictions. It was supposed to be for one month like that, now they made restrictions much lighter.
What I've been up to during the month?
I JUST MOVED OUT FROM LOMBARDY AND ESCAPED FROM RED ZONE!
Window view, sunset time in Tuscany!
Feeling like an actress in "Letters to Juliet" when walking around those cute streets in Tuscany- Massa Marittima.
Our friends asked us the day before official lockdown started, if we want to join them to trip to Tuscany. We (me and my flatmate) were packed in 15 minutes (really). In four people, we took the car, went to Tuscany for a while and lived our best Italian lives.
On our daily basis we had classes online so our daily routine didn't changed too much- we studied and worked during the morning and then we were tripping. One day we went to Saturnia. I can say, thet is one of the most incredible places I've seen in my life. 24 Celsius degrees during the middle of November helps to build unforgettable memories. We took a bath in hot springs and got back to our rented apartment in Tuscany.
Hot springs in Saturnia.
During this time we've got also lockdown resolutions. One of them was to stay active (for the heath of mind and body) and we are running 3 times per week. You can ask from where I have the motivation to woke up at 7am and start running... The answer is our finish point: pasticceria. We simply running for cornetto with pistachio :)
